J-Key: A Smarter iOS Keyboard for Motor and Visual Impairments

Jamie Wallace created J-Key after struggling with precision on standard iOS keyboards. His design breaks the keyboard into five clusters, reducing input errors and enabling predictive typing and custom text snippets.

J-Key integrates seamlessly with VoiceOver, includes rotor support for delete and caps lock, and offers features like auto-return, emoji clusters, and repeated key input—designed for people with physical and visual impairments.

The app is $2 on iOS and offers a personalized typing experience for users who have never found a keyboard that works well with assistive tech.
