Double Tap’s Steven Scott attends WeWalk’s Hands-On Day

On Tuesday 23 September, WeWalk gathered a number of key partners for an afternoon of real stories and hands-on demos at the RNIB Grimaldi Building in London, England.

Speakers included our own Steven Scott, user Maggie Moore, RNIB Head of Inclusive Design Robin Spinks, Sight and Sound Technology CEO Glenn Tookey, and Orientation and Mobility Specialist Dee Beach. Opening remarks were delivered by RNIB CEO Matt Stringer and RNIB Director of Strategy Daniel Fisher.

Steven and Shaun Talk To Voice of Islam Radio

Steven and Shaun were recently invited onto the UK’s Voice of Islam Radio to join presenters Imam Jalees Khan, Abdul Qayyum Rashid, and Zakaria Bhatti for a special discussion on “how technology is reshaping everyday life for the sight impaired”. The conversation explored the latest innovations in assistive technology, accessibility breakthroughs, and the personal impact of tech on independence and inclusion for blind and low-vision people.

MABVI Welcomes Steven & Shaun

The Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (MABVI) kindly welcomed Steven & Shaun for an engaging session with their online community. The pair shared insights into the latest accessible technology—from smart glasses and Braille devices to AI tools transforming daily life for blind and low-vision users. They also treated attendees to a lively behind-the-scenes look at how Double Tap is made, offering stories, laughs, and candid reflections from their work covering tech through the lens of accessibility.
